LEGO City Undercover being removed from the Wii U and 3DS eShops in Japan

LEGOing away

Nintendo has announced that LEGO City Undercover is going to be removed from the Wii U and 3DS eShops in Japan on Dec. 22nd, 2020. No reasoning for the removal was given. The title will remain available on the Switch, so there's at least one way for consumers to snag a digital copy after Dec. 22nd.

Thanks to Naruki for the heads up!

Dang. I bought this game when it released, and they de-list it just as the first loading screen was about to complete.

As the owner of the Wii U, 3DS and Switch versions, I'd probably stay with the Wii U one. Can't talk about the other versions, though.

The 3DS game is a completely different one, but even with its limitations feels like a more stable version compared to the Switch one.
