3DS/Wii U software discounts section removed from My Nitnendo
What's the deal?
There's been a small change over on the My Nintendo website, but it points to a major shift in the future.
People have noticed that the My Nintendo website has yanked one of its rewards categories. You used to be able to click on a section of My Nintendo that would take you to various Wii U and 3DS software discounts. That option is now gone, and if you try to access it via the old URL, you get an error.
It seems Nintendo is moving away from offering discounts for games on those legacy platforms. Hopefully that means we'll get a focus on Switch game discounts in the near future.
