Tika Sumpter set to reprise her role in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie sequel, additional filming taking place in Hawaii

Tika Sumpter played Maddie in the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie, who ends up being the love interest for James Marsden's Tom. Looks like that story is going to continue, as Sumpter has confirmed that she'll be reprising her role of Maddie for the sequel. Along with that, Sumpter confirms that there will be additional filming for the move in Hawaii. Hopefully we'll get some behind-the-scenes pics or plot details soon!
