Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury takes #1 on the weekly UK software charts, almost 3 times bigger than the original release
Another success for the Big N
While we're still waiting on the weekly UK software sales, we already know what took the top position. Nintendo is no doubt celebrating, as Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury managed to secure the #1 spot.
Looks like Switch owners are still hungry for Mario, as they swarmed retail to pick up copies. Even better, this physical launch is nearly 3 times bigger than the launch of Super Mario 3D World on the Wii U. Remember, this figure only includes retail sales, so we don't know how many people went with the digital option. The retail results make Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury the 3rd biggest Mario debut on Switch, putting it behind Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 3D All-Stars.
