Original Stitch and Pokemon Co. continue their collaboration with yet another line of special Pokemon-related designs, this time featuring content from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Get full details on this new lineup in the press release below.

Original Stitch and The Pokémon Company today announced the launch of new apparel, allowing fashion-forward fans of the Pokémon brand to choose designs from 34 patterns of Pokémon originally discovered in the Hoenn region, as seen in the classic 2002 video games, Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire.

The launch coincides with February 27—better known as Pokémon Day. The new apparel lineup includes shirts, masks, and bandanas from Pokémon Shirts, a customized shirt service from Original Stitch, in collaboration with The Pokémon Company, which first released in February 2019.

“This year is such an important milestone for the Pokémon community,” said Marina Carroll, Marketing Manager at Original Stitch. “For this launch, we chose Pokémon Day, both as a way of marking how far we’ve come and allowing us to celebrate Pokémon’s 25th anniversary year-round. Getting this moment right—for us and the community—is essential, which is why we spent so much time transforming these designs into must-have fashion items for 2021.”

The new apparel collection introduces fan-favorite Pokémon like Treecko, Grovyle, and Sceptile—these are just a few of the 34 Pokémon that inspired the new line of patterns, all based on the classic 2002 video games Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire.

“The addition of these patterns allows fans of the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire games to show support for their favorite Pokémon and join the 25th anniversary celebration with their own signature look, whether they favor custom shirts, masks, or bandanas, or any combination of these items to get this year-long party started right”
