Learn How to Harness the Power of the Fire in the Action-Adventure Alchemist Adventure

A burning desire

Fire, water, earth, and wind — by these powers combined, you can become the ultimate alchemist! Today, publisher Super.com and developer Bad Minions want to teach you how to harness and manipulate one of nature’s most dangerous elements — fire — in the latest video for their fantastical action-adventure game Alchemist Adventure.

Currently available in Early Access for PC, with a Q4 full release planned on PC, console, and Switch, Alchemist Adventure challenges players to use the power of alchemy and the elements to concoct the potions and tools lead character Mya needs as she battles a mix of mundane and magical monsters and unravels the many mysteries of the long-forgotten land of Isur.

In this latest video, the team gives you a deep dive into the basics of fire's power as you explore the magical world around you. Symbolizing power in its purest form, this first element introduced in the game allows Mya to burn wooden obstacles, light torches, and solve puzzles that she encounters throughout her journey. Enemies are no match for its incredible potency, which deals massive damage and causes enemies to burn beyond the initial landing blow. Combined with other elements, tools, and ingredients such as the flattened flask and sulfur, the effects of the fire element can be intensified, and can create entirely new elements such as lightning, steam, and lava.

While each element can be used individually to thwart a variety of enemies — each with their own elemental weakness — by combining elements, you have the ability to create even more powerful attacks. But monsters are not your only obstacle — even the devastated world around you proves to be a challenge. However, a brilliant alchemist can overcome any environmental obstacle by commanding the elements to create bridges, walls, and even change the landscape entirely.

Alchemist Adventure is an action-adventure that takes place in the mystical land of Isur. Long ago, it was the home of brilliant, yet dangerous alchemists, but now lies abandoned and ruined. You play as Mya, an alchemist who has awoken to find herself in an unknown place, confused and with no memories of what has happened. As she explores this mysterious land, she will make use of the four elements — fire, water, air, and earth to boost her abilities, transform the land around her, and solve alchemy-related puzzles. The land of Isur holds many secrets, all of which can be uncovered both in solo or cooperative play!

Alchemist Adventure is currently available for Windows PC via Steam Early Access. The full game will launch in Q4 2020 on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

Each shape offers a unique mechanic, helping our pie-shaped person surmount obstacles and find inner peace.

As with all relationships, each character Broken Circle intermingles with offers it unique properties. Some will allow it to float into the heavens, others will cause it to cling onto surfaces, and some will cause it to tumble along with an extra spring in its step. Not all relationships were made to last however, so don’t get too attached!

“We wanted to make a game that reflected the experience of being human. So we made a game about a limbless circle. But a very human circle!” said Writer, Andrea Brasch. “We all feel insecure at times, and our relationships with others simultaneously lift us, but can also make us feel incomplete on our own. That’s never been more true than it is right now, so if our game can help people through this trying time, we know it will have been worth it.”
