Another retailer adds a listing for the Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered on Switch

The rumors are piling up

Multiple retailers have added a listing for Mass Effect Trilogy Remastered to their websites, only to yank them a few days later. Now we have yet another retailer who wants in on the action.

Czech retailer Herni-Svet has added a listing for the game, complete with the Oct. 15th, 2020 release date we've seen floating around already. This retailer has a different cover art from other listings thought. It certainly looks like a legit cover art, but that's just speculation for now.

If this package really is coming out Oct. 15th, 2020, then EA has to be revealing it in the very near future!

Rumors of Nintendo and Netflix teaming for a Legend of Zelda project swirl once more, Tom Holland reportedly being eyed for Link

For years now, there has been a rumor of Netflix and Nintendo ironing out a deal to create some sort of Legend of Zelda feature. Nothing ever seems to come of it, and the rumblings die down over and over again. Today that speculation has picked up speed once more, and now there's a Hollywood name being floated with the project.

Inside sources that have correctly leaked previous Netflix projects are once again saying that the Legend of Zelda project at Netflix is the real deal. Furthermore, the powers that be apparently want to land Tom Holland for the role of Link. Obviously Netflix and Nintendo aren't going to make a peep about this, and the same goes for Holland.

Earlier this week, Nintendo did say that they're working on more 'visual content expansion projects' beyond the Mario movie, but held back specifics. If there is indeed a Zelda feature in the works at Netflix, it would definitely be a part of this new push.

RUMOR: Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition seems to be heading to Switch

While not announced by the developer or publisher, it seems that Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition is on its way to Switch. The Switch eShop back-end has been updated with a listing for the game, and it was added on Sept. 1st, 2020. This is much different from a retailer listing, as it already shows that the game is ready and waiting on the eShop. We just need to see the official reveal, and then the game will be pushed live on its launch date.

RUMOR - Prince of Persia's remake will likely be revealed during the next Ubisoft Forward

Seems like the perfect time

A couple weeks back, a few different retailers listed Prince of Persia as coming to the Switch. As far as we know, it's a remake of a classic Prince of Persia game, but we don't know which one. Looks like we'll be finding out next week.

Not surprisingly, rumors are out there saying that the Prince of Persia remake is going to be unveiled at Ubisoft's next streaming event, Ubisoft Forward. That will take place on Sept. 10th, 2020, so we don't have long to wait at all. Hopefully we'll find out the game is coming this year as well!

RUMOR - Leak shows Funko POP! figurines for Ponyta, Raichu, Mew, and a Pikachu variant

What's POPpin?

There has been a decent amount of Funko leaks in recent months, giving us a look at what's to come from the toy manufacturer. That includes a number of different leaks for Pokemon figurines, which all turned out to be true. Now yet another wave has been leaked, and we'll have to wait and see if they're the real deal.

The latest leak says that four more Pokemon Funko POP! figures are on the way. Apparently Ponyta, Raichu, and Mew are on the way, as well as a Silver Metallic Pikachu. We just have the info on these leaks, and no pictures have been shared at this time. Expect some leaks of the actual figurines as the weeks roll on.

Rumors of Monster Hunter Switch surface once again

Is it really happening?

There have been rumors of a new Monster Hunter game on Switch for awhile now. We've never heard anything concrete from Capcom about these rumors, but the latest rumblings point to the company revealing the game soon.

Yet another industry insider claims that Monster Hunter Switch is going to be revealed in the near future, and the game is running on a modified version of the RE Engine. The general consensus seems to be that the game is going to be revealed in some form come Sept. 2020.

Bloomberg chimes in on the revamped Switch rumors, backs claims of a 2021 release, say Nintendo considered 4K support

Where there's smoke...

Earlier today, a report came in from The Edge Markets stating that a revamped version of the Switch is coming in 2021. Their info came from people along the supply chain, but obviously no specific names were given. Now Bloomberg is joining in on the report with their own tidbits.

Bloomberg also believes that a revamped Switch is coming in 2021, and it will include beefier specs compared to the current Switch options. Bloomberg says their info comes from 'people familiar with the matter,' and also states that Nintendo considered features like improved processing power and 4K resolution support. Whether they actually went ahead with those features remains to be seen.

Finally, Bloomberg says that both first-party and third-party software is in the works, and the titles will focus on both casual and hardcore audiences. Apparently the revamped Switch is getting the lion's share of Nintendo's attention right now, which supposedly explains why the first party software support for Switch in 2020 has been a bit slow.

RUMOR: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 might be coming to Switch

Skating over to Switch?

Activision hasn't announced Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 for Switch yet, but some evidence has popped up that certainly points to an announcement down the road.

Dataminer Darth Bellic went poking around the demo's various files to see what he could find, and he stumbled upon various controller images. Included in those images were pictures for the Switch itself, the Pro Controller, and the Joy-Con. There's certainly no reason for those images to be in there if Activision didn't have some plans to bring Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 to Switch.

Now the question is, did they have these plans and abandon them, or are they a hint of an announcement down the road? We'll just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Guatemalan retailer lists Prince of Persia remake for Switch with November 2020 release date

Another retailer leak has been discovered...

According to Guatemalan retailer MAX, Ubisoft may have plans to soon announce a remake of the original Prince of Persia. A listing has recently appeared on their official website for both Switch and PS4 versions, with pre-orders currently being taken for a November 2020 launch window.

While retailer listings for unannounced games don't always come into fruition, Jason Schreier (a video game reporter at Bloomberg) seems to be teasing the game's legitimacy on Twitter. Replying to a skeptic's response of "I don’t believe it’s true", Schreier tweeted "This tweet won’t age well.”

With Schreier having a known track record for leaking details on various Ubisoft titles, it seems that we can likely expect an official announcement from Ubi for a Prince of Persia remake sometime in the near future.

RUMOR - Killer7 making its way to Switch

Is another Suda classic getting a second chance at success?

We learned that No More Heroes is making its way to Switch, thanks to an official rating in Taiwan. Now it seems another Suda classic might be coming to Switch as well.

A LinkedIn page for an employee of Engine Software mentions that Killer7 is going to come to Switch. Engine Software worked with Suda51 previously to bring Killer7 to Steam, so it only makes since that they'd be involved in any other ports. The profile for the employee in question specifically says that he's the Executive Producer on Killer7 Remaster for Switch and PC, which certainly make it seem like this info is the real deal.
