Five more Switch demos have become available on the Japanese eShop, and we have all the info on the titles below. Check out all the demos that can be downloaded for free using a Japanese Nintendo Switch account!

Splatoon 2 Special Demo 2020

Wanna get your feet wet in fast-paced, messy ink battles? Do you have tentacles instead of feet? No matter your answer, the Splatoon™ 2 Special Demo 2020 may be for you!
Head to the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch system tomorrow to download the special demo, then get ready to play from 4/29 (Wed) at 11:00 p.m. PT — 5/6 (Wed) at 6:59 a.m. PT.
During the demo event, you'll be able to jump online* and fight it out in 4-on-4 Turf War battles with friends and other players who own the full game. You can also try out Ranked Battles and the Salmon Run co-op mode.
Just note that you'll need a strong internet connection and a Nintendo Switch Online membership to participate in the event. But if you don't have a membership, don't worry: You can try it out for free!

BRIGANDINE: The Legend of Runersia

KUNAI

Gothic Murder: Unmei o Kaeru Adventure

This is an original mystery game developed by Orange, who have previously worked on a number of other mystery adventure games including the Jake Hunter Detective Story series and Inuwashi. Enjoy five cases through the beautiful illustrations of Yasuyuki Shuri (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu, Okashi-na Tensei).

Inuwashi: Urabure Tantei to Ojou-sama Keiji no Ikebukuro Jiken File

Inuwashi is an adventure game set in Ikebukuro, where a police detective with the special ability to read people’s minds and a private eye who resides in an removed area of Ikebukuro take on various cases alongside their colleagues.
The game is produced by the staff behind the Jake Hunter Detective Story series and features character design by Kazuhiro Hara (Log Horizon illustration, Gundam Build Divers character drafts, etc.)
Players will investigate a variety of cases ranging from suspense to comedy, the occult, and more, from the perspectives of both police detective and private eye. Join forces with unique characters such as a former gang member butler and high school prodigy hacker to solve each case.
Compared to the smartphone version released in 2015, operability seen a complete overhaul, allowing players to enjoy the lengthy, 30-plus hours story with comfortable operation.
With upscale features such as character design sheets from Kazuhiro Hara fully included, this is one that fans do not want to miss.

Visual Novel 'My Secret Pets!' announced for Switch, releasing April 30th

Pet you didn't see this one coming

My Secret Pets! from developer Dogenzaka Lab has been announced to be coming to Nintendo Switch from D3 Publisher. This Japanese visual novel is all about your animal friends being suddenly transformed into men. Previously available on Steam, Google Play, and the iOS App Store, you'll now be able to experience the game for the first time on a console. Launching on the Japanese eShop on April 30th, 2020, you can preload the game now for ¥1,580 and 488 MB of storage space. Due to the English language being supported, it seems likely we'll have a western announcement sometime soon. If you want to try the game for yourself, a free demo is available by using a Japanese Nintendo Switch account.

You can never pass up on free! SAT-BOX has published a Switch demo for Desktop Basketball (known as Tsukue de Basuke in Japan) on the Japanese eShop. Even if you aren't located in Japan, the software can be downloaded worldwide using an easy-to-make Japanese Nintendo Switch account. If you like what you see, you can purchase the full game for ¥850 JPN.

Two more Switch games have received demos on the Japanese eShop. Demos for both Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix from publisher Sega Games and Pocket Stables from publisher Kairosoft can be downloaded for free using a Japanese Nintendo Switch account. A synopsis of each game can be found below.

10th anniversary of the series, a rhythm action game starring a virtual singer "Hatsune Miku"! In this work, there are 100 songs featuring the history of 10 years, including the first recorded songs in the series, and a total of 101 songs with newly written theme songs. Rhythm games add a new game mode unique to Nintendo Switch called "Mix Mode", in addition to "Arcade Mode", which is similar to the traditional way of playing. In addition, the PV has been renewed with an anime touch!

The wildly anticipated Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is launching very soon (February 20th), but a little something is available now to tide us over until then. A free demo for the Atlus game has launched on the Japanese eShop, and can now be downloaded for Nintendo Switch. Thanks to JapaneseNintendo, you can learn how to create a Japanese Nintendo Account so you can access the demo worldwide!

Two more games have also received demos on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Japan. Demos for Bandai Namco Entertainment's "Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet COMPLETE EDITION" and SAT-BOX's "Voxel Pirates" can be downloaded using the same account method mentioned above.
