The following comments come from various industry figures and analysts...

3DS sales...

"At the end of the day it all comes down to content, and if Nintendo can deliver strong AAA video games for their 3DS platform this holiday season, sales should pick up substantially." - Electronic Entertainment Design and Research (EEDAR) analyst Jesse Divnich

Call of Duty success...

"After four consecutive years of breaking records, it has become a habit purchase for a lot of consumers. Until quality declines, if ever, you can expect Call of Duty to continue to break entertainment records." - EEDAR

"Battlefield 3 is going to take some share." - Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter

"I have a hard time thinking too many people are going to buy both of them. That is a lot of war game and no diversity in your catalog. And we know from what EA has been crowing about, they have a lot of preorders going on that." - Adam Sessler, G4

On Skyward Sword...

"I do wonder about The Legend of Zelda (Skyward Sword). It doesn't have the usual fanboy craziness around it." - Adam Sessler

"I haven't had anybody mention that there's a Zelda game coming out," he says. "It's like they just forgot. The Wii has become an afterthought." - Pachter
