Epic - Console makers need bleeding-edge tech or Apple will beat them

Well, Nintendo definitely proved that kind of thinking wrong with the Wii and DS, as far as power goes. Will Apple products push the other guys out of the market this go-around if the most bleeding-edge tech isn't incorporated?
