The interesting thing is Nicalis is trying to be ready with the Wii U version for the system's launch. Can we hope for an up-and-running digital shop at Wii U's launch?

Another eShop game! 2012 is the year for eShop!
If the numerous Cave Story rehashes are anything to go by, this will hit both services by the end of 2013 at earliest.
I love hearing about all these devs, indie or otherwise looking to bring these games to the Wii U's digital shop. I think it'll turn out even better than the eShop...
Nicalis? We're not going to see this for another three years then.

Hopefully they have it done in time for the Wii U launch. Also, I'd be surprised if Nintendo didn't have the eShop up and running for Wii U on day one. They have learned a lot from the 3DS mistakes and won't make the same one again, which is why we will so a more reasonable price point as well.
i hope Nigoro give up on bringing La Mulana to the wii and bring it to the wii-u and eshop instead

Given Nicalis' stellar track record, I doubt it. La-Mulana has been out in Japan for almost a year and we still don't have it plus we're still waiting on NightSky.
