Reviews for this one seem a lot less consistent than Xenoblade (almost all 9s or higher) and Last Story (almost all 8s or higher). I've seen some really low scores on this and some really high ones. I loved Xenoblade but couldn't get into Last Story at all, maybe I'll give this a go. It seems better than Last Story to me in all honesty.
Pretty spot on with my experiences of the game. Its the kind of game that you have to want to be interested in its premise (if your optamistic)/gimmick (if your pessamistic). The way ganbarion structured the game will fit it to the kind of player you are as a gamer. Like to rush through killing all the big bads and getting through the content with out much interest in character exposition or story telling? Well you're probably gonna get the worst ending, and probably come away with a sour taste for the game. But like the reviewer stated at the end, if you're the time of gamer to put in the time, you get much more out of the experience and will enjoy it much more then some. My only griped with the game was the lack of varying enemy types and environments outside of the usual suspects. A fire level, ice level, darkworld/light world level etc. But seeing as how this all takes place inside a SINGLE tower, I'm suprised they changed it up as much as they did. Definetly an 8/8.5 in my book.

That's because it's a type of game that you either love or are "meh" about. So yeah if it looks good to you then get it (looks good to my as well, but it looks more "on par" to The Last Story then worse then it IMO)
Even though this game hasn't gotten as many high scores as the other 2, it's the one I'm most excited about. I really hope this game comes out in the US and Canada. If not I'll be really disappointed.
^lol Gave me a chuckle. I don't know why anyone would be against something like Operation Rainfall. As a Wii gamer and an RPG lover, I have respected them since I heard about their efforts. And I've never heard them whining, or even close to it.

It's sad really. There are so many fatalists and defeatists among gamers or even company brown-nosers that have to make excuses for companies NOT delivering what gamers want (granted some things are bit extreme, like suing Bioware/EA) that they have to be contrary to Operation Rainfall fighting the good fight and making sure we got games we REALLY wanted to play.
I think the second you call people like them "whiners" for demanding the games in a cooly conducted manner, you've lost touch with your own kind. Not to mention you're denying yourself of a game you COULD have enjoyed just because you're (wrongfully) spiteful against the party that fought for you.
I'd hate to see how a person like that treat unions should he work for living.
didn't think gamespot would like the rainfall games so much.
A higher score than I expected.

I wasn't really excited for Pandora's Tower.
Then I watched this review.
Now I hope and pray it comes to the US.

@HaloBenish
I'd hardly call 6 "really low"

Who was that dumb*ss that said he wasn't getting any of the games because Rainfall were a bunch of whiners?
I dunno, I just felt like bringing him up. That guy should eat crow.
