It's much better on the Vita. Saying that, I haven't played the 'playing with shadows' level on Vita, that level is incredibly retarded.
And I don't know what they were thinking when they compressed the audio this badly, no way am I getting this now
@mintgreen I think it might be because it's a demo. It would make more sense that way since MGS 3D and RE revelations both had compressed textures. I believe good people died was also compressed in japan's demo
I reserved Rayman earlier today, then came home to find out the demo had been released. LOL!!
Anyway, the game doesn't look bad to me. Obviously things look a bit small on the 3DS' screen when compared to playing on a TV or the Vita... but it doesn't look terrible, and the 3D is nice, though a bit subtle.
@LegendofSantiago not talking textures i'm talking audio. MGS audio was fine in the demo, I don't have the retail game but I can't imagine it being any better. Nothing screws a game up more than crap audio, not even poor frame rate (edit: when comparing similar levels of deterioration in frame rate and audio).
When I picked this demo up, I was excited for this game. Now after beating all 3 levels I'm not. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the compressed graphics and audio were probably a product of it being a demo, but the 3D was barely noticeable, and everything looked crappy because everything being so zoomed out didn't jive well with the 3DS's resolution. Hell, even the cheap Rayman 2 port they had at launch had a decent 3D effect, although I'm not surprised, since this IS a 2D game. I didn't mind the difficulty, but I was hoping they would alter the graphics a little bit to make it look nice on the 3DS's screen. I didn't get the console version because I was waiting for more details on this, but I think I might just skip this and pick up the PC version.

^This. I loved the wii version. But I actually hated this demo
