Well, this is one of those rumors that's quite low-level, yet has a good chance of being true. An inside source claims that StarFox, F-Zero and Smash Bros. will all be showing their faces at E3. Of course, the source doesn't know whether these titles are going to have Wii U or 3DS showings.
I have to admit, I've heard rumblings of F-Zero returning as well. I'd say it's about damn time!

Have any of you seen RedLine? it's F-Zero: The movie and it's gorious. I hope Nintendo gets Takeshi Koike and co. to help work on the art for a new F-Zero.
Interesting. I'd love to see what would be new about these titles... F-Zero is LONG overdue. And StarFox I've seen enough of, but not in the vein of the original. Smash well... that's not coming for a while so I don't really care ATM.
Yep. Definitely gonna be a small CGI Smash character reveal.
Think F-Zero would be a more welcome reveal than Starfox, tbh.
Along with Eternal Darkness 2, naturally...
Not necessarily. If the Wii U version has been in development for a solid year or two like I assume is the case, then there's plenty to show off, but we'll probably be getting a CG trailer, some solid info next year, and then we'll probably see a release in 2014. There's also been rumors floating around that the 3DS version won't take nearly as long to develop since it'll be running on Brawl's old platform.. but then there's also a rumor floating around that the Wii U version will also be developed on Brawl's old platform.
So who knows. We'll have a better idea of their progress come next week.

Not exactly CGI.
But why do you assume that, completely contrary to everything Nintendo and Sakurai have said? He has said it almost every day during the development of Kid Icarus. He hadn't even entered the planning stages until after KI had wrapped? You are just pulling things out of thin air and assuming. At the time of last E3 it was a scribble on a napkin!
The fact that Smash Bros. is on this list at all makes me doubt its credibility. But boy would it be wonderful seeing all of them in one show.
Can't wait till we can finally put all these silly rumors aside!
That movie made my eyes water, fast pacing, and amazing artwork. It's one of the rare anime movies I am going to honor with getting a copy for my shelf and relive the excitement from time to time. Oh and don't forget the great music, need to play this movie LOUD!
Oh, that one! ^^ I thought it was strange, since I've never heard of a CGI trailer... thank you~
Now this is a rumor to be hopeful for
Am I wrong to think that if Nintendo announces Star Fox OR F-zero, they win E3?
Smash is most likely a trailer. No way it's mentioned last E3, then goes out without a word this E3.
All Iwata has to do, is to say "Smash Brothers." And they have won~<3
I highly doubt Smash since development on it just started (Sakurai said he wanted no distractions when making KI: Uprising). Star Fox and F-Zero though? Maybe. *sniff* Maybe.
That would be cool.
Nothing wrong with some Star Fox and F-Zero love
Star Fox, yes!!!
F-Zero, yes!!!
Super Smash Bros., yes!!!
Smash bros? That has JUST begun production? Yeah... no. I call it fake
That's whay they want you to belive~
@Eternal Rain
While i agree for the most part, i dont think its appearance at this e3 is out of the question. They could have outsourced a CG trailer to be made, most of the time those arent usually made in house by the same devs anyway so they could have planned for this to be ready while they are still doing major work elsewhere.
Most people have ignored the part where the source said it could be shown in any form, not just gameplay or a cgi trailer.
The smash bros. part is very plausible especially after Sakurai was goofing off at Platinum Games' headquarters and then posted a picture to his twitter account.
The F-Zero and Star Fox part just sounds too good to be true. Because of the drought of new games from those franchises.
I'm not a Smash Bros. gamer, but F-Zero GX was impressive.
Hopefully F-Zero Wii U will be a small eShop game for 10-20 bucks, because I recommend Project CARS to be as big as Mario Kart Wii U for the next gen. F-Zero isn't a full price game in my view, because it's a licence free scifi racing game, by no means as deep as Project CARS will be.
Starfox Adventures for Gamecube was a really great title, I didn't play through it, but it was fun so far I went. I would be excited to see a Starfox game like Metroid Prime, but deeper and broader with some stellar action and adventures on differnt planets. They should aim for fewer games but more long term fun like Mario Kart or Wii Sports.
Especially racing games should launch only once each gen and then being updated over the time, with new content and DLCs, patches, better visuals, more vehicles/tracks/events/scoring/tournaments...

Sakurai did what?! I've not heard of that. ._."
How do you not remember that? It even made it to this site.

Ah, thank you! ^^ And I must have missed that piece of news, somehow. ._.
Anyways, stupid Sakurai, trying to sneak around!
