Always happy to see the Koopalings return. I do like the idea of switching out the wands though.
Ultimately, as far as baddies go, I just REALLY want Wario to be in this game.

Honestly, we have to fight Bowser every games so I'm glad that Nintendo is including the Kooplings in a lot of games lately as well. They will probably be in Super Mario Bros U as well.
On one hand, yay Koopalings.
On the other hand, Nintendo reusing MORE assets in NSMB. :/
I'm happy to see them back as well and I agree with @PC. Definitely prefer them to generic larger forms of smaller bad guys. People forget that they were used in SMB3 and then they turned right back around and used them again in SMW. Considering how long their absence was between SMW and NSMB Wii, let's give the whole "the novelty thing is wearing off" remark a rest. Also nice to see Reznor back after a 21 year absence as well.
This game just keeps getting better!!
Meh, the Koopakids were an absolute joke on NSMBWii.
Now if Nintendo were to make them into actual level bosses for this one, that would be nice, but until then, I would rather take new bosses over these pushovers.
If hes bugging you guys so much then report him since @cortjezter will not tolerate anyone abusing the edit button which hes clearly doing……again.
I still would like to know the story behind their return. And why they disappeared.

Who cares? He's contributing. Let him have his fun, if he IS editing, which I doubt. What I am sick of seeing, however, is your brown nosing of the mods like they are a divine being instead of posters to keep the peace.
ANYWAYS... On to the topic.
I hope they have the Koopa Kids in unique ways, like they hop into Mecharobots or something. That's ridiculus, but an idea!!! But I agree, I was really hoping Wario would make a comeback. Maybe a secret Wario World will open once you reach that Mega Million Milestone. It would be cool if Waluigi appears, too. Although, I doubt Wario would like to share the luscious loot obtained over the game.

True, as it's a Mario game based on money, it would make sense to have greedy bastard Wario thrown in there ^^ It would be a great way to differentiate the NSMB games as well, and a reference to the Mario Land series which would make sense as it's a portable game.
But I doubt it ^^
Roy's the only one confirmed right now? I know the others will probably be there, but it would be kind of funny if Roy was the only one in the game.
Always nice to see them return, but couldnt they have at least created some new artwork for him? Oh and put them in the spin off games nintendo, dont waste our time with wigglers and what not.
I'd guess the main reason they aren't in Spinoff games, is cuz' there's seven of 'em. Just having one of them in a spin off wouldn't make sense, and would be unfair. Having them all would be too much! So, I guess that's why they created Bowser Jr. ._.
But don't worry, soon we'll get Koopa Kart, and it will ONLY have Koopas!!
The purple and yellow screenshots made me think we would get Wario as the final boss... I really hoped it would happen, actually
Bosses are never the highlight of Mario games, but it's still a shame they're bringing these guys back, since they (and the players) have explored them as bosses before, I mean.
But again, I never look forward to bosses in Mario games, so I'm not exactly disappointed.
What did I do to you? You keep on threatening me with potential bannings although you aren't a mod and I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. I comment here a lot because I love gonintendo and and I like contributing to the site. As for why I'm usually.on the site, I have work that usually has me infront of a computer and with twitter I get the latest updates. I also use my cell phone a lot so I can pretty much access the site from anywhere even when I'm out at the movies, or hanging out with my friends.
I really hope this game gets a hard mode, the newer games don't challenge me as much. SM3DL took me about a couple days to 100%
Why is this such great news? I am sick of them already. With a game based on getting a million coins; this could have been a game with Wario as the antagonist as an ode to Mario Land 2 or something.
