EA is already bringing Madden and FIFA to the Wii U, but what about some of their other sports games? Reader Sheldon contacted an EA customer service rep to see if NHL 13 had a chance of coming to Wii U. The rep said they had "no official information on that subject at the moment", but that he should "definitely keep my eyes open in the coming weeks". Certainly sounds promising to me!

One giant MEH.
Haven't played a NHL game since the N64 era. Probably not going to change.
As a Canadian and big hockey fan this could be amazing news for those like myself
Wouldn't be surprising.
Now the next NCAA game would certainly be surprising. I can't remember the last time one of those was on a Nintendo system.
Gamescom.
Sounds like a confirmation to me.
I have a few cousins and friends who love these games, so this is great for them.
Not really interested, but cool for those who are.
The EA support is just trickling in. So much for that partnership.
Not sure what to think. On one hand, if it doesn't make it to Wii U, I don't think there's going to be an audience complaint massive enough to make EA act. And if it makes it, I'm not so sure it'll be good for the Wii U. If anything, it'll make it look bad. Look at Madden and FIFA '13... they're trying to justify the removal of key features in this year's standard version for somewhat gimmicky ones. If people don't buy into it by noticing the difference between their friend's 360 version and their Wii U version then they're REALLY going to think that Wii U is weaker and therefore not worth the asking price given that they could get 360s for much less. I'm afraid they might do the same with this game...
Does 2K still do NHL games? NHL is the only sports game I would consider buying. It's a fun game in video form, much better then Football (American).
The more, the merrier, right?
If they want to make this a more arcade game than PS3/360 version, I'm all for this. The simulation is too much on NHL on PS3 and 360 heck even NHL Slapshot was cool (casual yes but more arcade).
Come on NCAA 13
