I'm not sure why BK toys launching at a certain date would mean that the wii u was going to launch by then, but okay. Also, the interview that was done with him probably made me like him less honestly. :/
I don't eat fast food but I want Wii U toys. At one point didn't McDonalds have Wii toys?

Ummm...How is the Euro the weakest of these currencies? The same game that is being sold in Japan and EU, costs aprox. 5,000¥ and 50E? That says that 50E can buy 5,000¥...So, it is stronger.
Now, about the E vs. $, up until now 1E = 1.25$...

@Chased That's not how economics work. Just because the price something is higher/lower in one country than another doesn't at all reflect the strength of either country's currency.

Ummm the first 37 seconds were of Pachter being insanely humble about his celebrity lifestyle. You make loads of cash making incorrect predictions about video games apparently.
I mean his dog is asleep on the floor next to him? His dog doesn't even have to effing work he makes so much money! His kids are out swimming in a swamp just to get away from their father and his wife is off getting a 'massage' for what I assume has been several days.

He may have said that he's joking in that GN questionairre... but he doesn't show any sign that he's not being serious in some way. No laughing, no indication that it's a joke, nothing. I do kind of understand his complaint about E3. Even though Nintendo said before that they weren't going to announce the price or date there, hearing it months later definitely doesn't help.
If you've been a gamer for as many years as i have, you kind of know the cycle and how it works, and you know that these details will be announced in september, giving Nintendo 2 months to do full on advertising for their new console.
It's really not a big deal, but this guy acts like he's been personally offended by Nintendo, because he's a crybaby.
October does seem possible, but i don't think he knows for sure that that's it. I actually think that late October would be best for the platform, seeing as it will enable it to take full advantage of holiday sales and all the big november releases, let's see how it turns out.

When there is so big difference, it matters. It's not like the American-Aussie price thing...50 to 5,000 is a huge difference and it can only be explained with currency conversion...
And even if this is not the case, try a currency converter and see for yourself...The ¥ is the weakest of them all and the Euro is the strongest...
