Y'know, with how great the writing is in this series, I wonder if this game will be able to make folks warm up to Jr.? I'm really curious to see how they're going to handle his character.

Thats actually a good point. I already like Jr. but it will be interesting to see how he works in a Paper Mario game, no, an RPG in general. Honestly, the Mario RPG games are were we really get to see what the characters are like, so it will be neat to see Jr. in one.
This definitely looks like the N64 cover. There is no doubt that was the biggest inspiration for the cover.
As for Bowser Jr., I expect (given the Paper Mario staff's excellent writing abilities) that this will turn many heads. I am positive they will make him a fun and engaging character. I think this will turn a few Bowser Jr. "haters" and people who are neutral on him into fans of him (at least in Sticker Star).
Hmm if you check the character design (for example, the redesigned Hammer Bros... and now Bowser Junior) the game is starting to look less like a Paper Mario game and more like a Mario and Luigi game, but with paper effects. The only one who hasn't changed that much is Mario. Oh well... I'm looking for this game, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon was delayed 'till 2013 :c
you guys have got me amped for this game now. shame about luigis mansion slipping into next year. i have this conspiricay that nintendo is spreading out it 3ds releases to give room for the wii u launch. at least in the west.
love the felt design, and i guess the purple goo mentioned in the gamexplain trailer is bowser jr's doing like in sunshine
I have made my decision to buying it retail =).
I wonder what evil plans Bowser Jr. has in store.
Great box art.
Not sure if there's enough or not enough stuff going on in the boxart.
The only big 3DS game coming out for the rest of the year now - this will be mine!

Professor Layton says hi.
There is also Professor Layton and Harvest Moon.
And the box art looks AMAZING! I hope it's the final box.
Box art is amazing for this! great job to the artist(s) involved!
It reminds me of the N64 one too. Where is the cat in the corner from? I think I seen it before but I don't remember where.

It's lovely. I love it.

OK now I'm excited for this game cause Bowser Jr is in it!
I feel your pain there.....though I'm over it now. ^_^
Only 3DS game I'll probably get this year!
Wow I'm really diggin' this box art. Nice to see Bowser Jr. on the cover too, didn't know he was in it!
This is looking mighty fine.
THats some pretty cool looking Boxart! Its pretty cool to see that Bowser Jr. will be involved in the game somehow.
Looks cluttered and messy. The other games had busy boxarts but it was still organized.

Very nice boxart. I approve.
I agree with MegaShock, it seems too busy. Either that or I don't like where the logo is placed.
I like it. It retains the charm (at least the boxart) from the series.
