Nothing too dumb.
1. Games have two different generes: yearly game to gain money (COD, Madden)and games that spend time to make it great(Alan Wake, Nintendo games, Square games).
2. None of the console makers are going to leave the market.
Why is it that Patcher said Nintendo cares about quality and is willing to add another year or two on development to get quality, and Nintendo wouldn't be leaving the industry anytime soon but still this video was given -5? I guess people don't agree with what he said.
reading the comments , i'm surprised he didn't erupt in an anti nintendo rant like he did like two days ago ? or was it three ? Going back to five days probably makes it another anti nintendo rant .
it seems he's even a bit positive .

Maybe because they're tired of all the gloom and doom stories of this guy regarding Nintendo. I don't follow this guy a lot, but this is the first time he talked about all game companies (specially Nintendo) in a realistic, unbiased way. Pleasantly surprised.

It's relatively dishonest though, and doing it without even viewing the content is even worse. It's also unfair to readers not familiar with how the community here views things, and simply join a hate bandwagon.
So wait, the message that I'm getting based in the comments is that if a story about Nintendo is negative, then people should thumbs down, but if a story is positive, people should thumbs up? what ever happened to constructive criticism? How is it that the company can provide better products and services (Because let's face it, there is a lot of ways they can improve) but whenever someone has something negative to say, the Fanboy Cavalry comes a ridin' in. Maybe he criticizes the company because there are current trends, standard practices even, that Nintendo just thinks are beneath them, and communities like this one are the main reason they think that way. Communities that shrug off criticism as just plain hating without raising a little hell themselves. The man speaks week after week a combination of his past experience and his personal opinions on the business of the games industry. Grow up, Nintendo fans, and realize that you idolize passionately defend the company that ACTUALLY tried to sell you Wii Music and if left to their own devices, would have only had Mario Party 9, Poke Park 2, Rhythm Heavan, (a 3 year late port of) Pikmin 2 and Kirby 20th Anniversary and as the ONLY Wii titles to come out FOR THE YEAR.
When he has something positive to say about a company he says it. When he has something negative to say about a company he says it. He bases his comments on the facts as he sees them, as any fair-minded person should, not on emotion or a sense of loyalty to a manufacturer. He compliments and criticizes all three console manufacturers, not just Nintendo.

I have heard people say that he is "even handed" in his insults. But i never see anyone quoting or mentioning or making a big deal over negative comments he has on Sony and Microsoft. While I would not expect to see that here, given the nature of this place (it is GoNintendo), I do go elsewhere on the web and only see Pachter commenting on Nintendo -- or so it seems.
(That or setting $44 as he price point estimate for Facebook).

Good episode.. Nice to see Pachter is not one of those who keep parroting the end of consoles any time soon.

Still think Sony's Gaming division will be toast after 8th Gen.

Nothing negative at all, a good episode, why the downvotes? Yeesh, this community sometimes.
You made me sign in, just to thumb this up, people! Are you happy now?
Why the Hell, do you downvote this episode...I guess you just clicked the negative vote button the moment you saw "Pach-Attack" in the title!
@Chased I don't know, after saying so much nonsense, saying something that should be common sense isn't something that is worth upvoting (IMHO)

My only thought upon reading these comments after watching probably one of my fav PA vids was
"Wait, there's a Thumbs Up/Down thing on this site?" Way to pay attention, self.
@LegendofSantiago
Also, if this is unworthy the thumbs up, then all the other videos of him are unworthy of thumbing them down...
