Aside from no partners, the game looks fantastic!

In the future, wouldn't it be great to have a Wii U, HD Paper Mario game that looked like that?
Partners or not the game is going to be fantastic, and just because the concept of partners isn't implemented doesn't mean it can't be just as good if not better than the past games.

The last 3DS game I'll be getting this year [the others being Kid Icarus, Theatrhythm and KH:DDD] - cannot wait!
Think I'm gonna be literally playing an absolute ton on my Wii U when I can during the day, and this in my bed at night by year's end.
Oh I know the game will kick ass even without partners. Hell, I loved Super Paper Mario so just going back to turn based has sealed the deal for me. But still, the partners (even in SPM) added a certain charm that I'm not sure how they will recreate.
Without partners this game will be so much boring...
LOLno. Kids who think Paper Mario is about some cannon fodder never played Paper Mario.
There were originally partners in the game. The screens from E3 2010 confirmed at least one partner, a black Chain Chomp. Unfortunately, at that time the game was still so early in development that they hadn't even decided what the game mechanics would be. It is a shame it turned out less RPG and more Action, but it's still an improvement over Super Paper Mario. I despise that game.
No partners = somehow less RPG, more action. Makes sense to me.
I love it. Can't wait to play!
