Sony - Vita + PS3 can 'easily' offer what Wii U does

Can the Vita/PS3 combo do some of the things that the Wii U can? Of course it can. The thing is, all Wii U games are built with the connected two-screen experience from the ground-up. Any of that interaction on the PS3/Vita will most likely be an added bonus. Can you imagine a dev, be it Sony or 3rd party, that makes Vita/PS3 play the main focus of their game?
