I really did enjoy the game, i need to replay it soon on my XL Also, for anyone interested in the game, try to get used to playing the game without the stand. The stand really hurt to use for me but not using the stand worked just fine. I do hope we get a sequel, DLC, or at least an HD port for the wii U
edit: Spoiler warning for the video

I agree, when I get the eventually going to be released limited white XL, I will play through it again.
It's cool they uploaded this, the delay was good to avoid spoilers as nobody would have expected somebody else besides medusa on an initial playthrough
My favorite 3DS game! And I found the stand pretty useless too. On launch day, I played the game in the 3DS cradle for about 5 hours and felt no fatigue. For some reason, the charge cradle is just perfect! Probably because it's thicker.
This is from the gameplay montage they uploaded to the eShop on Thursday. It was pretty cool. There were optional things in the game that I'd never seen before.
With the game itself though, I have to say I was disappointed in it. . .Although part of its my fault. I had the audacity being born left-handed so playing the game without a circle pad pro was very annoying, and while playable, I didn't feel I was getting the best experience possible so I stopped playing for the time being.
Then I got a CPP sometime in June and picked the game back up and finally beat it. It was a fun experience, and Uprising is definitely a solid title, the only reason I was disappointed was because it was my most hyped 3DS game (perhaps overhyped to an extent). So I definitely don't regret playing it, and I intend on going back to multiplayer every so often for some matches.
Also, I never thought I'd say this about a game, but at times I felt the game was too long. Or maybe not too long, but I felt some chapters dragged on. For example **spoilers** the Aurum invasion levels, I felt that they totally derailed the main story and just messed up the game's pacing. While I enjoyed the character(s) it introduced, it almost felt like DLC levels, and while I wouldn't have wanted it to be DLC, I think it would have worked just the same as some sort of post-game bonus chapters or something.
But I digress, I'll get off my soap box, the game didn't live up to MY hype, but its definitely a solid title that everyone should at least try out, and its good to see Nintendo still push it.

There are plenty of reasons to avoid this game:
*The controls are horrible
*The camera is problematic
*The main character is whiny
etc...
None of these are true. I've put in over 100 hours in solo and online and never once had a problem with the controls or camera. In fact, any other control method would make 9.0 runs impossible. You need the precision. 5-10 minutes in 2.0 solo and it'll already start becoming second nature.
Everything about this game is incredible. The gameplay and amount of content is extraordinary. Weapon making could be a game unto itself, but is not required to enjoy the game at all. Which is another of the brilliant points of the game.
The adjustable difficulty settings for the levels, from 0.0-9.0 and every tenth in between, is the best system ever designed for difficulty. You can take it easy and play 2.0, enjoy the phenomenal story, great voice acting, and hilarious dialogue (I've died in levels from laughing,) raise the difficulty a few points and dabble in making and collecting advanced weapons and powers and get a decent challenge, or go full out 8.0-9.0 and take everything the game's willing to throw at you. Best challenge in a game I've ever played, 9.0ing everything, and never once was anything 'cheap.' Honest, but hard as heck challenges.
(Good luck completing the treasure hunt boards...)
It has been a long, long time since a game has had me dropping my jaw in awe, but it is games like this that keep me coming back.

Could not have said it better myself! I'll just add this: If a whiny Character is a reason to hate, then you must hate every Star Wars movie.
Man I really need to pick this game back up and play some multiplayer. It really is an excellent title, plus I'm on a Greek Gods kick after beating God of War 3 last night.
//You want to talk about terrible camera and controls? 99% of my deaths in GOW3 came from platforming segments in the game where either my second jump wouldn't register or while gliding the camera suddenly shifted and sent me to my doom.
I think Pit and Palutena should shut up.... Yeah, not being a whiny protagonist is a good thing; but last time I checked, it's not a JRPG and they start to spew things that has absolutely NO relevance than trying to be funny.
P.S. the controls are STILL terrible no matter what you do (well, except if you use the thumbnail option; that at least makes it a bit more manageable, but not by much).

Still my favorite 3DS game to date

One of THE best 3DS games available. No excuse not to have this game. [Besides lack of funds]

Must be a push for some new holiday sales?

I'd say skip the damn thing.
WHEN DOES THIS GAME COME OUT?!?!? IT LOOKS GREAT! /sarcasm
My favorite game of all time.

Many gamers including me would disagree with you.

The stand works fine, but I can do it without it. Game is awesome, best game on the 3DS thus far. Pick it up everyone!
i'd say skip this damn post.
Anyways, great game with flawed controls and just some general design odditys (See Kenkaku's review of it here http://gonintendo.com/?mode=reviews&id=301&game_id=245 ). My personal fav.
@M1, well you're the kid with the Sonic 4 avatar, so I'm sure you know a lot about problematic and floaty controls.
10 minutes with the controls, which you can adjust plenty of ways in options, and you're pretty much good to go.
Pit is hardly whiny compared to the typical JRPG protagonist, and the script is absolutely hilarious.
Skipping this game would be a huge shame, especially since it's something different from Nintendo for once.
@Dinoman96
I like how no one mentions how terrible the shop is. That and more in a mess of a game that's only worth a rent!
