UPDATE - As many have stated, this would still fall into 'launch window'. I just think many of us were expecting the game to be out in 2012. Also worth noting, the NA release date simply says 'launch window' on the hub site.

I really doubt this is accurate. Ubisoft have already confirmed it's a launch title - I know that's turned out to not be the case in North America, but it's been reiterated numerous times for the European market.
May be worth shooting off an email to Nintendo and/or Ubisoft early next week to check.

My ShopTo.net order of it hasn't changed - it's still a launch title for us here in the UK and Europe.

Well I still believe in Europe it's at launch and in NA it's on December 4th.
Didn't even Shibata say it was a launch title? I'm not sure though. Personally, I won't buy the game right away at launch. It would be better if they released the game later anyway, you just can't compete with Mario. Not talking about quality here.
