I don't think the spray can mechanic works that way. Its just symbols you spray paint
Yeah it's been confirmed that it works similarly to Dark Souls message system (I know I keep saying I didn't like Dark Souls, but there were some interesting aspects about it, like the "players leaving messages" system). You leave a symbol or pre-made message of some kind that players can see with the blacklight (so as they don't obscure the environment like in Dark Souls), and there will be a rating system for people to say if a message was helpful or not. They said they did this in order to help avoid "stereotypical internet trolling" like leaving messages saying "HURR DURR PENIS" and such.
Perfect. I really wouldn't wanna waste my time looking at crap and just play the game without messing up the mood.
