Thanks for writing in. It's great to hear you want to learn more about Wii U! I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, but we do not have information letting us know which titles will be available for download at launch. However, I can confirm that a majority of Nintendo-published Wii U titles will launch both as a packaged game at retail stores and as a digital download in the Nintendo eShop. - Nintendo customer service rep
Why do I have a feeling that we won't find out what eShop games will be available until the day before...or the day of?! Thanks to Moron9000 for the heads up.

I thought Sing Party was confirmed to be retail only due to microphone. Just like if any other games have a peripheral they won't launch digital.
I imagine it is majority and not all due to Spirit Camera and any other games along the same lines which have a physical component that cannot be replicated with a digital download. It is not in Nintendo's interest to leave some games off the eShop.
I really, really want to know what eShop digital-only titles will there [UK] day 1.
Hopefully my paid for copy of Cloudberry Kingdom, at least...
Exactly.
Actually, games with peripheral DO launch digital. PS3 has singstar which requires a microphone. It would be a great idea to go with a cheap digital version so people with existing microphones can join in.
SiNG Party's mic can be purchased separately, no?
I can't wait to see how this all shapes up.
