You'd think Wii U owners who use Club Nintendo would know about the upcoming 30 cent deal? It's nice this clears everything up, though!

Not really, everybody who has a WiiU doesnt watch Nintendo directs or is online a lot to see all the upcoming 30 cent games.

In before people spin this in a negative way against the company or use it to go to ridiculous lengths to put something else they do into a negative light. Or at the very least ignore it so they can continue pretending Nintendo's customer service is terrible or their online store is "ten years out of date" or some such nonsense.

Probably something like this: Wow, Nintendo is giving our coins back so we have to pay for the game we worked hard to get by saving up coins. this is bull, blah blah blah.

Yeah some people will complain without reading. Nintendo is still giving out the code if you were refunded.

Well that's proactive.

So let me get this straight. They get to keep the game for free, but if they want to play on the gamepad they'll have to pay 30 cents when it's released during the promotion?
I wonder though, if people decide to also pick up the 30 cents version, they'll end up having two versions on their WiiU. One in Wii-mode and the other for WiiU VC.

Uhmm. (nods) It seems this site has been on "Negative Nancy" mode for awhile. These same cynics always complaining about the those who don't see the negative side of things and call them blind fanboys, but at the same time, they prove they're no different from the so called "blind fanboys".

I already had my game downloaded before the CN copy of the game was removed so that is why I was able to receive the courtesy coins.

Wanna know what's great? Not a single comment from
any of those regular commenters in this story thread. Why? Because this is a positive story they can't spin. They say they are just giving criticism where warranted (which I'm all for) yet you never see any of them saying anything positive in stories like these. Hell, you never see any of them saying anything positive period. If they can't rag on Nintendo and complain and whine, they don't show up.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for expressing your opinions and giving constructive criticism, but that's not what they do. They claim that's their motivation, of course, but then you never see anything positive from them. It makes you wonder why they spend so much time on a Nintendo fan site...

@Rsmith7
This. Pretty much exactly what I was trying to get at.

On Topic: But anyway, this is a really nice thing for Club Nintendo to do. Good on them.
