- one snowy level is called Winter Keep, populated by snowball-throwing gremlins
- another level is the western-themed Iron Jaw Gulch
- levels are full of secrets, and even hide secrets within secrets
- some areas gated off, requiring a specific elements
- you'll also need pairs of elements
- dual elemental gates can only be opened by two players controlling characters or a Swap Force character that is made up of the two elements
- Swap Force gates can only be accessed by a character of the right movement type
- eight movement types in all, ranging from teleport to rockets
- complete the story without seeing every portion of the world
- Bonus Missions are hidden in each level
- one is called Master Chef, and revolves around trying to stop the Master Chef from cooking up the Elder Fis
- this is a time trial that involves a mix of kill rooms, puzzles, and minor platforming
- rooms are usually be set off by pumpkins being launched at you
- for this mission, all the enemies are wearing chef’s hats and other food-themed items
- another bonus mission is Treble Theft, which revolves around fighting enemies to unlock musical instruments that awaken depressed musicians
- Roller Brawl is an Undead inline skater that skates around throwing blades and charge attacks
- Wash Bucker’s octopus legs hit enemies in front of him
- Rattle Shake’s snake bottom does a spin attack that shoots out a rattlesnake
