Splatoon - more details on upcoming tournament in Japan

- Will be called the Koshien tournament

- Tournament will be decided in two parts. The first will have dates at several major cities in Japan where people will play 4v4 battles. The second part will be an even larger tournament in Japan taking place on January 30 and 31.

Fukuoka (September 13th)

Sapporo (September 26th)

Nagoya (October 11th)

Osaka (November 3rd)

Miyagi (November 15th)

Hiroshima (November 22nd)

Kagawa (December 13th)

Tokyo (January 30th)

Tournament rules also include:

Mode: Turf War, 1 battle, exceptions in the finals and semifinals

Stages: Urchin Underpass, Saltspray Ring, Blackbelly Skatepark, Walleye Warehouse, Arowana Mall. Stages will be picked randomly.

All weapons made available before the tournament starts will be allowed for use. Furthermore, whatever version will be available when the tournament starts will be used as well.
