Analyst - NBA lockout could shrink sales, revenue for NBA 2K12 in a big way
The following analysis comes from Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia...
- continuing NBA lockout could result in diminished sales of NBA 2K12 by about 1 million units
- this would lower earnings to $40 million
"We are conservatively modeling 4.5M units for the title in FY12 (NBA 2K11 has sold-in more than 5.5M units to date). The company’s viewpoint, however, is that the uniqueness of its upcoming NBA title could conceivably protect it from historically negative trends during a lockout."
