Kirby's Block Ball not coming to NA VC?

Remember that press release from Nintendo that showed Kirby's Block Ball hitting the North American 3DS VC catalog? Now a Nintendo customer service rep says it's not coming.

...at this time Kirby's Block Ball has not been announced for release here in North America.

Hmmm...pretty sure it was announced. Did Nintendo forget their own announcement?!
