Wii U fans still waiting on Call of Duty: Ghosts confirmation

Remember when Activision said that they were waiting on next-gen news to talk about Call of Duty: Ghosts on Wii U? Well, now we know that the next Call of Duty is coming to Xbox One and PS4 via official confirmations. What happened to the Wii U talk? When approached for comment, Activision simply said, they don't have “anything more to announce about Ghosts at this time.”
