Wonder why Earthbound costs $10 on the Wii U eShop? Nintendo won't say
Earthbound is finally on the Wii U VC, and it's sitting pretty at $10. Certainly a steal by any stretch of the imagination, but it is a couple bucks higher than your average SNES game. What's the deal, Nintendo?
"As for EarthBound, Nintendo sets prices in the Nintendo eShop and Virtual Console on a game-by-game basis. Different games will be offered at different prices."
That's as close to an answer that you'll get. Like I said, I think the price is an amazing deal, even if it is slightly higher than the normal.
