GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Time to help out a friend

GN Version 4.0

I'm putting the usual reader review post on hold for tonight. I have something that I felt was pretty important to share, and to do so in a timely manner.

Jon Sakura has been a great supporter of GoNintendo for years now. He's even sent out some amazing shirts for the crew, which I proudly wear in my regular rotation of tees. Having you guys and gals read the site is still something that blows me away, and people like Jon really show why I consider the lot of you to be wonderful people.

Unfortunately, Jon has hit a rather rough spot. He runs a business called Gamers Anonymous, a store that specializes in classic games and gaming hardware. His store happened to be hit by a particularly nasty story that has cost him thousands of dollars in lost merchandise. You can see a short video about the situation below.

As you can see, this video is part of an IndieGoGo campaign to help get Gamers Anonymous back on its feet. Any contribution, small or larger, will be greatly appreciated. Any bit will help turn this terrible situation into one with a happy ending. You can read more details on the situation at the official IndieGoGo campaign page below.

Here on GN, we post up a bunch of Kickstarter projects for devs that are trying to release games on Wii U/3DS. I definitely think supporting those projects is important, but I believe something like this is just a bit more serious. As I said before, Jon has been a long-time reader of the site. Any chance I get to help one of you guys out, I'll take it. I'm sorry it's a sad situation that has brought this post together, but spreading the word of the situation and trying to help fix it is the least I can do.

Thank you for taking the time to read all of this. Good luck to Jon on reaching his funding goal and getting his store back into working order.
