GN Version 4.0
- essentially a F2P title
- negotiate prices with the in-game store keeper
- play as your Mii
- start by entering Darumeshi Sports Store run by Inuji Darumeshi, a 10 year-old dog
- he is a former professional baseball player
- he gives you a boiled egg, his favorite food, as a gift for coming to his store
- Inuji's wife has left him and his store is failing
- children no longer want to play the sport of baseball, instead choosing to play inside
- Inuji went to Hontendo to get a "4DS" and some baseball games to sell
- you offer to look after one of Inuji's 10 kids
- take the kid back to your home and play the baseball demo
- you climb inside the 4DS and run along the cable to the TV
- hit A when the ball comes at you
- get points for your timing - one, two, or three points
- get three dead balls before 'Game Over'
- each challenge requires a certain number of points to complete it
- get a grade based on your performance, which earns you stamps
- collecting enough stamps earns you items, like boiled eggs, and nose hair trimmers
- 6 challenges in the demo
- 50 challenges in the 'full game'
- different types of challenges
- examples: two ball machines shoot at you, one shoots nothing but trick shots
- each has 5 levels of difficulty
- the seemingly regular ball machines stand up and are actually men dressed in full suits with the ball machines for heads
- exit the 4DS once a game is completed
- Inuji shows off 10 different games, all versions of baseball
- each is 400 yen (or about US$4)
- this is real-world money
- use the child and the items you collected to negotiate a price
- obtain coupons for money off
