- find brand new areas such as Coniu Plains, Deferu Wilds, Rinjarahu Coast and the territory of Gran Zedor
- new characters such as amnesiac Mishua or mysterious stranger Crows
- new class is Beast Master that lets you scout and recruit monsters on the field
- bring them along as AI companions during battles
- monsters can level up
- enemies such as Killer Panthers, Battle Rex (Or Hacksaurus in the West) and Mash slimes
- casino is finally open for business
