A portion of a 8-Worlds News interview with SWDTech Games...

8WN: After hitting $50 000, Pixel Noir hit a stretch goal ensuring release on the Nintendo 3DS. What are the teams plans in creating a unique experience using the 3DS features and differentiating itself from the other planned platforms? And with the 3DS being a weaker system to develop for, are there any concerns about creating a port that allows to create your full vision of the game without any substantial compromises?

SWD: If we were building an FPS or ultra-realistic game, I think we’d be concerned, but really we are developing a SNES game with more intricate/complex systems and game design. So no, we’re not worried about the graphic card specs or anything along those lines. We’re honestly still in talk about how we want to redesign for the 3DS, so I unfortunately don’t have too many answers at this point. I can tell you that we all really loved how Bravely Default performed on the 3DS, so we might take some inspiration from that team!
