GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Does Daisy deserve more love?

Let me tell you, there's nothing quite like a clean beard. A big mass of freshly shampooed hair on your face feels absolutely amazing. It's like a big bird's nest that you just want to dive into! As for me, I'm gonna snuggle up into it and catch some rest right now! See you in a few, short hours!

I have one friend who is absolutely in love with Daisy. She much prefers her to any other female Nintendo character, and especially prefers her to Peach. She just connects more with Daisy. She's spunkier, less reserved and seems to be a tomboy from the interactions we've had with her. As a matter of fact, there seems to be a growing faction of Nintendo fans that is sick and tired of seeing Daisy left in the dust time and time again.

That's the question though. Is Daisy really being shunned when others are being brought into the fray? Just how does Nintendo decide when it's time to wheel Daisy out? You really have to scratch your head with some of the decisions Nintendo makes with roster lineups in certain games. There doesn't seem to be any specific rhyme or reason to who they'll put in games with big rosters. You know that Mario and Luigi will always be there, but the rest are a crap shoot!

Where does Daisy even fall into the lineup of Nintendo characters? Again, you have the A-tier characters like Mario and Luigi, then B-team like Toad and Yoshi, but how far down does Daisy fall down the list? I guess that depends on where you put Wario and Waluigi. Actually, I think I'd put Wario higher up on the list than Waluigi. I mean, Waluigi hasn't had a single game to himself! He's only ever paired up with his bro when it comes to sports or board game outings. Now...is Waluigi worse off than Daisy?!

All this chatter has been brewing in recent months. Just over the holidays, Reddit's Nintendo subreddit was flooded with support for Daisy. While the mods were away on break, users were posting Daisy threads left and right. There's no denying Daisy has her supporters out there, but is that crowd big enough to warrant more support for the character? She's finally coming to Super Mario Maker, but after a bunch of other odd choices made the cut. You'd think Daisy is at least good enough to appear in the game before the pigeon!

How do you feel about Daisy? Does she deserve more love? Do you like her more than Peach? Is it time for her to get her own game? Leave a comment and let us know!
