GN Version 5.0

With the arrival of the New Year and half term already on the horizon, parents will be looking for ways to entertain their children without splashing the cash. In answer to this, Nintendo is kicking off the New Year by reminding owners of Nintendo 3DS family systems – which includes Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL – that in total there are more than 100 demos and games to start free of charge through Nintendo eShop, the online app store built into Nintendo 3DS family systems.

The demos have something to suit every taste, and will give players the chance to battle and brawl in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, catch Pokémon in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, hang out with friends in Tomodachi Life or even feed, pet and dress animals with nintendogs + cats. In addition, several free-to-start games – including Pokémon Rumble World, Fullblox, IRONFALL Invasion, Steel Diver: Sub Wars and Nintendo Badge Arcade – will open up whole new worlds for players, providing them with the chance to take on completely new challenges and even uncover something unexpected.

Offering a diverse selection of fun at your fingertips, Nintendo eShop is your destination for family-friendly entertainment and the ideal way to try out games before you buy, and even start playing some titles for free.
Simple and stress-free, downloading games and demos from Nintendo eShop allows players to keep their demos together on their system – accessible at just the touch of a button. Nintendo eShop can be found on the HOME Menu of any Nintendo 3DS family system – just look for the orange shopping bag!

So, with over 100 Nintendo 3DS demos to choose from, the question is obvious… what game will you play next? Check out our Nintendo 3DS YouTube playlists for free demos and free-to-start games.
