Devs behind Mother 4 fan game decide to rebrand, lose ties to Earthbound/Mother

Mother 4 is a fan game that has been in the works for quite some time. The project looks pretty damn fantastic! As of today, work continues on the game, but one big change is happening.

While the project hasn't been hit by a Nintendo takedown notice, the devs involved decided it was best to rebrand now and avoid that issue in the future. The game will retain the same story and Mother-like visuals, but it will remove any direct references/uses of Mother/Earthbound content. That way the project should be able to live on and see release without issue.
