RUMOR - LucasArts was working on a TIE Fighter/X-Wing style game for Wii U
A pretty convoluted rumor, but one backed up by all sorts of sources. Here are the details we know so far.
- LucasArts was working on a project called Trigger
- this was an attempted Call of Duty killer, but plans changed
- the project moved more towards a multi-step project designed to reintroduce Battlefront
- the first game was First Assault, set to be unveiled in September of 201
- there was another project called Version Two, designed to show off vehicle prototypes and other elements that didn't make the cut
- Version Two grew from a project called Wingman
- this was going to be a Wii U title modeled after the old TIE Fighter and X-Wing games
