GoNintendo 'End of Day' thought - Time for shameless promotion of GoingSony.com!
I have a good feeling about this week. I don't know why, but I do. I hope you guys all have that same feeling. Let's make the week great for each other! See you in a few, short hours.
One 'End of Day' thought about this topic, I promise. I figured I would keep it short and sweet. I also thought I'd get it out of the way early in the week. That way we can get back to the Nintendo side of things!
I'm here to make a quick mention of a new project that launched just last week. Well, it's not actually 'new', but it's a long-in-the-works return! After a 6-year hiatus, GoingSony.com has finally returned! Long story short, it aims to be like GoNintendo, but it provides news on Sony platforms.
For those that haven't been with GoNintendo very long, let me explain. I started Sony/Microsoft sister sites many years ago, but they fell apart due to staffers not being able to handle the workload for numerous reasons. Rather than have just one person run them, I decided to shut them down until a better time. Now we're giving it another go! Come hell or high water, GoingSony is here to stay this time. If you're a Sony fan, please check out the site or follow our Twitter!
We're just getting things rolling, so the first few weeks we'll be feeling things out and getting staff together. Please excuse our random update schedule while we iron details out. Also worth mentioning, we're looking for more staff to handle the nitty-gritty news work. If you feel like that's something you'd want to try out, shoot over an email to GoingSony@gmail.com. We'll fill you in from there!
Finally, I want to make sure I mention that GoingSony will in NO WAY impact the updates on GoNintendo. GoNintendo is, and always will be, my love. My schedule here doesn't change one bit at all. I'll pop in on GoingSony to do work, but that's only when my GoNintendo schedule allows. I promise, not even one minute of my GoNintendo time will be taken away by GoingSony.
Thank you to those of you that have already frequented the site and followed the Twitter. Also, thank you to the long-time fans that have kept asking about these sites coming back. You're the reason we've put in all this work! Finally, a HUGE thanks to T27Duck and Cort for their tireless work on bringing GoingSony back to life. It would not be possible without them.
