Mother 3 pop-up shop opens Dec. 15th, 2023, new merch revealed
Now all we need is that Mother 3 localization...
For years now, there has been an annual Earthbound/Mother pop-up shop that opens its doors at the PARCO shopping center in Shibuya City. This year is no different, and now we have a glimpse of what this year’s shop will offer to Earthbound fans.
The Mother pop-up shop is set to open its doors on Dec. 15th, 2023, and it’s going to focus on New Pork City from Mother 3. While Mother 3 hasn’t seen release outside of Japan (officially), plenty of Earthbound fans around the world know the game through its fan translation alongside the Smash Bros. cameos, references and stage.
Of course, the most exciting part of the yearly Mother pop-up is the new round of merch, and we already know what’s set up 2023:
- Friends Yo-Yo (¥2,200 or $15 USD)
- Porky and Mr. Saturn Plush (¥6,600 or $45 USD)
For those who can’t visit the pop-up shop in person, these goodies will be sold via the Mother Project online shop starting Dec. 15th, 2023 as well. Even better, the shop should have no issue shipping these items worldwide, so Earthbound fans anywhere can get in on the fun.
