New set of Splatoon 3 Switch icons available worldwide, MOTHER 3 icons available in Japan
You win some, you lose some
A double dose of Switch iconis are now available for Switch Online members, but one set of icons is only available to those with Japanese accounts.
First up is a new round of Splatoon 3 icons, which you can see in the image above. As you may know, the characters will cost 10 Platinum Points each, while the backgrounds and frames will cost each 5 Platinum Points. Don’t forget to grab some free coins by visiting the My Nintendo site.
Along with that, Switch Online members in Japan can access a set of MOTHER 3-themed icons. Just like all other icon offerings, characters will cost 10 Platinum Points each, while the backgrounds and frames will cost each 5 Platinum Points. There’s no word on these icons being released officially in other regions at this time.

2M agoCalling it now: Nintendo of America and Europe banned Mother 3 from releasing overseas from Japan. The only way we're going to see Mother 3 support overseas is if NCL offers Smash icons of Lucas and others that appear or cameo in Smash.
