Rayman fans have been begging Ubisoft for a new Rayman title for a few years now, but nothing has come along so far. Today, we at least see that Ubisoft hasn’t forgotten about the limbless wonder, as a new kind of experience is in the works for the franchise.

Rayman: The Board Game has been announced, and you can see a very cursory look at the adaptation above. Unfortunately, hardly any details about how the board game plays have been shared, although we do know that it’s designed for 2-5 players and will arrive sometime in Q3 2024. (h/t VGC)

While there’s no doubt Rayman faithful would much rather a new videogame, anything that helps keep the series alive should be welcome. Perhaps this will help Rayman reach out into areas where he’s not all that well known, helping to expand the character’s reach.
