Square Enix hosting LIVE A LIVE 30th anniversary event

When September 2nd, 2024 rolls around, LIVE A LIVE will be celebrating its 30th anniversary. In honor of the occasion, Square Enix has announced a special anniversary event that’ll take place on August 25th, 2024 at the Katayanagi Arena in Japan.

This event can be attended by fans, so long as they obtain a ticket through a lottery system. This 3-hour event will include a guest concert, as well as a talk session with the creators and the voice actors. Tomohisa Hashizume (Oboromaru), Kenji Akabane (Akira), Shizuma Hodoshima (Streibough), and Tomokazu Sugita (random characters) will be on-hand for the chat.

On the concert side of things, show-goers can expect to see performances from Hironobu Kageyama, HIDExHIDE and flutist Yoko. LIVE A LIVE producer Takashi Tokita and composer Yoko Shimomura will also make appearances.
