With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom finally getting its name revealed back in September’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo also revealed that players can get their hands on the long-awaited title on May 12th, 2023.

Today, the game has received a rating from Korea’s GRAC, or Game Rating and Administration Committee. Although no real new information on the game has been shared, we now know that Korea considers the game suitable for ages 12 and up. The rating mostly comes from the game’s mild level of violence, and is the same rating that Breath of the Wild received before it.

This is the GRAC’s second-highest rating, with the highest being an “ALL” rating meaning it’s suitable for all ages. As more ratings like this become available, small nuggets of information may start to peek through. Keep your eye out in the coming months!

I guess the Korean (and other?) rating boards are able to test very unfinished builds if the game...? Because normally a game gets its gold status just weeks before launch.
