In the middle of covering all the Nintendo content from E3, I started to hear a rumor about a hacker with some devious plans. Someone out there was claiming that they were going to steal the Zelda: Breath of the Wild demo and release it online for everyone to download. I sniffed around a bit and thought the claims sounded just too fake, so I decided to not run the story.

Now here we are a few days later, and it seems that maybe the hacker behind the claims really was trying to secretly steal the demo from E3. The article linked below has a massive interview with the hacker himself, and he goes through all the steps he took to try and secure the demo, which ends with him failing to do so. Read on and decide for yourself as to whether this all really went down, or was just made up for attention.
