GN Version 5.0

Since Nintendo Switch launched in March, there’s been a steady stream of great games coming to the system – and now, with the release of Super Mario Odyssey, the total number of games available in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch has reached a whopping 200! (Yes, we’re counting.)

Is it a little too early to reminisce? Naah! Join us as we look back at some of our biggest releases from the past eight months…

Things got off to a wild start in March with the release of boundary-breaking launch title The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Fast forward to today and the game continues to surprise with all manner of wonderful details.

In April, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe hit the shelves – bringing the biggest Mario Kart to Nintendo Switch and letting players race anytime, anywhere, with anyone.

Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition arrived in May, and players found themselves getting hooked on this creative adventure, one block at a time.

In June, another heavy hitter emerged, this time in the form of unique fighting game, ARMS. Pure pugilistic fun!

Next came July when multiplayer ink shooter Splatoon 2 burst onto Nintendo Switch, bringing with it new modes, stages and weapons!

Over-the-top strategy adventure, Mario + Rabbids® Kingdom Battle followed in August, with dynamic turn-based combat, zany humour and challenging puzzles.

September rolled around and with it came EA SPORTS™ FIFA 18. With FIFA Ultimate Team™, Career Mode, Online Seasons and Local Seasons, this Nintendo Switch release delivers the deepest portable FIFA ever.

September continued to be the month for sports too, with NBA 2K18 – which brings unparalleled authenticity to the court – also arriving on Nintendo Switch.

Now October is upon us and Super Mario Odyssey is finally here! It’s time to take Mario on a grand globe-trotting adventure, collect Power Moons, and stop Bowser’s wedding!
