Positives

- overall great collection of games
- single-card download play
- still fun with multiple players

Negatives

- short on modes
- limited options for those modes
- single player is a drag

Final Word

Mario Party: The Top 100 does provide some fun, as long as you have friends at your side. The single-player content isn't really engaging, and is fairly bare bones. Single card download play means it's easy for friends to get in on the action, but the modes offered feel limited. The board game play is stripped down, decathlon options use the same games every single time, and other modes are light on content. There's fun to be had, but you have to keep expectations very much in check.
