Pikachu Mass Outbreak event heading back to Yokohama City

- week long event featuring massive amounts of Pikachu dancing and parading through the streets of Yokohama
- theme for this year's event is “Science Is Amazing”
- for the first time ever, the event will take place during the day and night
- digital technology will be utilized during Pikachu Mass Outbreak performances in the evening
- over 1,500 Pikachu mascots will take part in the event
- will be held from August 10, 2018 to August 16
- events during the week include the Great Pikachu March and the Digital Splash Show
- in collaboration with Panasonic, an “Ocean Pikachu Parade” will be held for the very first time, with the use of Digital Technology
